About Me

Here’s a map representing dimensions of my life that shape how I coach, think, and work.

Instructional
Design

The art and science of how we teach and learn is a core part of my work. It’s also one of my biggest passions!

Constructivist
Theory

Everyone is naturally creative and resourceful. I pull on 25+ years’ experience to support you - not “fix” you.

Teaching

I’ve taught at all ages and levels. I’m energized by helping people develop a growth mindset. It’s literally life-saving.

Proudly ADHD

I was diagnosed as an adult. Until my 30s, I struggled to manage the challenges with little support. I “masked” and simply thought I was dumb.

Passions

My brain gives me a deep sense of curiosity and an insatiable appetite for learning. (Check out my Reading List!)

Playful

I learn through rhythm, movement, improvisation, and play. I hear breakbeats in my head all day long.

ANDREW GARDNER
Leadership & Attention Specialist

Andrew has over 25 years experience innovating in teaching, learning, facilitation, technology and management. Andrew has taught students from preschool through post-graduate at Yale, Columbia, NYU, and Harvard, advising on and evangelizing the use of technology to help students and teachers become future-ready.

He spent over a decade building and leading a professional learning department, certification program, and teacher community at BrainPOP, which helped lead to the company’s acquisition in 2022. Since then, Andrew has combined his passion for organizational alignment with his foundation in constructivist teaching and learning into coaching leaders, professionals, and parents. As a coach, Andrew is especially attentive to supporting the needs and strengths of neurodiverse clientele.

When not coaching, you might find Andrew volunteering as a mentor with REP, leading case study programming for the ACO, or enjoying pinball and the beach. He is married with 2 children.
